On the bubble; on the cusp.
Eye of the storm, concentric.
Eyeing the form, eccentric.
Slight-of-hand magic trick.
Everything upon itself turns
back – cyclonic turning – eventually.
Choose a vortex to place
the pin point and trace
the periphery with the compass;
encompass the perimeter.
Define for you the diameter.
Straighten your halo,
adjust your wedding ring.
Run your wet finger along
the lip of the wine glass
as you ponder the spiral
reasoning that carried
you back to the top, balancing
on the bubble… on the cusp.
Hmmm… this really does go full circle but it leaves more questions than answers (I like that!) The spiral reasoning is very much like a cyclone. Still pondering. Good stuff, Charley!

Thank you, Jilly! I’m not certain I’ve fully pondered it yet, either!

Thank you! It was stream of consciousness that came out of an innocuous prompt.

The cyclone of spinning and coming to a full circle. Manages to the poetic to give the reader a creative imagination of many things that happening in the eyes of the poet. 🙂 I love it. 🙂
