Storm the ramparts, me lovely!
Storm them with storms of kisses!
Cause luscious storms within my sanctuary.
Rage and storm shall I, protesting your advances,
then yield in the storm surge of my turmoil’d heart.
When all storming has subsided,
blow up another storm!
It’s another Quadrille night at dVerse Poets Pub, and we are being asked to include the word… uh, wait… lessee! Oh, you figure it out!
Ha! We’ll I’m not sure you got the word in there enough times, Charley. Otherwise, perfection. 🙂

I tried, but “storm” forty-four times just didn’t sing.

HA! You posted the song that was in my mind when I sidled up to the bar and ordered. Perfect! As for you poem, it is rather breath-takingly hot! Zowie!

Maybe I should have posted a parental advisory. Glad you enjoyed! (And, yes, I laughed when I read your post!)

Storm after storm. The only reason for a storm to subside is to start another one.

A steamy storm, I think, leading to steamy stormification?

Hmmm. Is that a word? I’m a former Meteorologist, and I don’t remember… well, I don’t remember much at times… so maybe it is! Glad I steamed your glasses! 🙂

IT ought to be a word 😊

You’ve certainly not stinted with that word… although maybe a hard rock picture would have been more suitable! Headbanging and all that?

Rock you like a hurricane? I can never catch the words to that song. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!

I’m kind of going to echo your comment on my Quadrille. This is so bluesy and Claptonesque. I think you should try to sell the lyrics. Yes, and hot.
