Elsewhere

“I’m unsure if all of me returned.” – Jim Harrison

Stars above the ice

pulled me out into deep space

have not come down yet

Gravity released

me from reality’s grip

voyager am I

Saw from God’s view

my own inability

to fully be me

Talk to birds and cats

whisper to puppies passing

crows can make me laugh

Trees can be prayers

clouds invite my thoughts skyward

solitude awaits

Night on back deck

planets calm my jangled nerves

seek to be once more

This is part of “28 Days of Unreason”

based on prompts taken from poems

by Jim Harrison.

  1. The whole entire poem is a super delight and fully creative flows in every stanzas.

This is my favorite lines by you:

    Trees can be prayers

    clouds invite my thoughts skyward

    solitude awaits

Ah! Planet earth herself is the prayer of all tress.
The solitude is the harmony of oneness and energy.

Beautiful writing my friend. You capture my attention the very first time I read your work. 🙂 I am happy. 🙂
